08/04/10 - Squirrel proof
Squirrel proof
This iron barred cage is said to be 'squirrel proof'. Nothing else has been so far. So to celebrate the sun coming out and it getting warmer at last I have invested in a new bird feeder. Is this a question of hope over expectation I wonder?

20/3/10 - Intruder
Intruder
Early, in fact just as it was getting light this morning, I spotted this intruder making off along the fence. He/she had just had a fantastically enjoyable time digging up and eating a whole bowl of 'yet to bloom' spring bulbs for breakfast !
