30/3/10 - Banana Tree

Banana Tree

Not what you were expecting? This is a deciduous banana tree with no bananas on it - we have just eaten the last one ... actually the last two - it is difficult to hand a single banana on the tree

:-)

14/3/10 - Triffid

Triffid

This triffid banana plant has taken over a friend's conservatory ... it was grown (so they tell me) from a rotting banana ... obviously a long term plan.
